My most interesting story happened when I became Quaestor/treasurer of the chapter. I had heard a story that the original charter of the house had been missing for nearly 100 years. After doing some digging, I found out that the charter was in a safe deposit box at a bank. With the help of a Chi chapter founding member, I was able to get access to the safety deposit box, and in it was the original document! I got in contact with one of my history professors to help me figure out if it was legitimate, and it was. I brought the document to the chapter house and said, ‘I found something that’s going to knock your socks off.’ I showed them the document, and they were all so excited. We took it to get properly sealed and framed, and we also made a copy of it to display in the house.
