By supporting various charitable initiatives, we aim to contribute to meaningful causes. We also partner with organizations like the Huntsman Cancer Institute. These efforts align with our values of helping others and creating a better world.
Philanthropy is integral to our chapter because it teaches us the importance of selflessness, compassion, and social responsibility. It is a vital way for us to honor our brothers and the Sigma Chi legacy. This demonstrates the bonds of brotherhood extend far beyond the walls of our chapter house. We’re empowered to actively take part in the betterment of our society.
2025 Derby Days
Chi Chapter had a historical philanthropy season, raising over $9,000 as a part of our Derby Days, a campus wide challenge involving other Greek life organizations. Here’s what happened:
- $8,400+ *Total* raised for Huntsman Cancer Foundation
- $1,800+ *Total* raised for Children’s Miracle Network (Phi Mu’s charity of choice)
- $850+ raised from Penny Wars
- 4,500+ votes for Banner Wars
- White Rose Ceremony
