For my 30th birthday, my wife surprised me by inviting out two brothers, Jackson Pollock ’16 and Joe Shonle ’16, that I hadn’t seen in many years. They both flew out here to Boston and we spent the whole weekend hanging out and reconnecting. Even though it had been so long since we’ve spent time together, it truly felt as though we had never been separated by time and distance. All of the Sigma Chi values that brought us together were still evident as they told me about what they had been up to. It brought me such joy to see them and reminded me why I joined Sigma Chi in the first place: the amazing guys that make Sig what it is.
