There have been multiple times when I found myself reconnecting with brothers post graduate, but this story, to me, stands out the most. Brother Chris Barbara ’17 has always texted me off and on to check in, see how life was going, and share each others successes when we could. About half a year ago, he reached out to me asking if I missed talking with some of the other brothers and their antics. I absolutely did. He then invited me to join one of the upcoming House Corporation meetings and the rest was history. I have since been able to reach out and reconnect with brothers from all over the country, listen to their stories, and realize why I rushed Sigma Chi in the first place. We really do have strong arms around us, even if we do not realize it.
